The Mangyans live secludedly in remote or mountainous parts of Mindoro. They sustain themselves from their own crops, fruits, and hunting. But sometimes, they come down to the lowlands to trade their produce from the mountains.

They trade sacks of uling, bottles of pure wild honey and woven/pottery products with consumer goods. Some of the folks refer to them as “kaibigan” as they frequent the town and trade their goods.
