Isdaan Floating Restaurant is now open again after a hiatus during the pandemic.
They’re welcoming visitors since last year, but were only able to visit it this year on my birthday.

For those unfamiliar, Isdaan is a popular floating restaurant drawing inspiration from Bali and Thai cultures.
It offers al fresco dining with a menu featuring seafood and Filipino dishes.
Let me take you on a virtual tour through snapshots of what to expect during your visit to Isdaan.
Upon arrival, a server will guide you to your designated kubo, These huts are free and float on a man-made lake.
Isdaan also offers complimentary boating around the restaurant, allowing guests to explore the surroundings.
You’ll encounter various structures inspired by Balinese architecture, along with depictions of fishes and gorillas.
Additionally, there are sections featuring Disney and other popular characters, such as Mickey Mouse.
One unique attraction is the Tacsiyapo booth, where guests can release their pent-up frustration by hurling plates at a wall and venting their anger. There’s even a Hulk figure nearby to encourage visitors to unleash their inner rage.
After indulging in this unconventional form of stress relief, take a moment to meditate at the back of the resort, where you’ll find serene Buddha statues.
During our visits to Isdaan, as we’re usually a party of two, we opt for the Mama Chit bilao package, which includes an assortment of fried dishes such as Tilapia, calamares, fried chicken, liempo, assorted vegetables, and side dishes.
This package offers excellent value for those seeking a variety of dishes. While it used to cost around 700 pesos just three years ago, it now goes for 1200 pesos, reflecting the impact of inflation. Keep in mind that other menu items have also seen price increases, so it’s advisable to bring some extra cash.
Below are photos of their menu.
