Historical Places in Clark Pampanga

The Salakot – Bayanihan Park

Bayanihan Park - Salakot 2

The Salakot is a symbol of Philippine-United States friendship. It was built to commemorate the signing of the Republic of the Philippines and United States Military Bases Agreement revision in 1979.

The monument looks like a larger-than-life salakot, or traditional Filipino hat. It is situated close to the main entrance gate of the Clark Freeport Zone, making it an easily recognizable landmark.

The Salakot stands as a reminder of the strong relationship between our two countries and is a testament to our shared history.

Clark Barn House

Clark-Barn-House

The Clark Barn Houses were some of the first structures built after the American occupation of the Philippines began in 1903. These old, wood-built barn houses were modeled after the traditional American style and served as the official residences for the base commanders and their families.
