Coming at the top of my favorite hostels in El Nido, Outpost Hostel is the place to be if you enjoy the peace and quiet of the morning and the island night life. It’s located a little far-off town but has a good location near Marimegmeg Beach. It’s famous for super chilled staff, sunset afternoon shots, island tours, beer pong championship, crossdressing nights.

Outpost hostel has 4 dormitory rooms and a number of private rooms. It has a spacious communal area with television and a library, a bar and a restaurant. The owners assures that the operation serves travelers on the road like how they would want to be served- No wonder that it has been awarded as the best hostel in 2017.

This place gives a perfect hostel life experience for backpackers, solo and group travelers. What I like most about this hostel is its convenient location, superb amenities, and good customer service. It’s located in town and is close to the beach, bars and restaurants. It has a rooftop pool, rooftop bar, restaurant and spacious lounge area with bean bags and pool table.

Frendz hostel has 18 dormitories and 9 private rooms. It’s a bit on the expensive side but the adequate space, decent dorm beds, attached crs in each dorm room plus the good atmosphere is worth its price. And, have we mentioned that it has been voted in 2018 as the best hostel in the philippines by Hostelworld based on real customer ratings?

In terms of convenience, Happiness Hostel ranks first. It has a central location and is close to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants in El Nido. What we like most about this place is it’s on-site restaurant which serves the most popular Israeli dishes and the best frozen margarita in town. If you’re a fan of Falafel and Shakshuka like me, this is the place to be.

What’s more is that, all their rooms have a view of the sea and El Nido’s famous limestones- Taraw and Cadlao. Each room has its own bathroom and shower which are a definite plus when staying in a hostel. It has a communal lounge too with TV and game area with puzzles and board games. El Nido One Hostel

If you’re in El Nido on a budget, One Hostel is the best option. Their dormitory rooms costs around 300 for one night- That’s almost half the price of the other hostels in our list. They’re all airconditioned and come with shower and toilet. It’s located in Corong-Corong- a little bit out of town but close to the bus terminal which is a plus.

One Hostel has an ons-site bar and restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you opt to eat out, there are restaurants and karenderyas close by. The beach is just 3 minutes walk away and the town, about 10 minutes. A travel trip would be to rent a scooter and head off to Marimegmeg Beach or Duli Beach.
