Aqua Planet

Gone are the days of cold breeze and sweater weather, and summer is right around the corner. If you ask me, the best way to beat the heat is to take a swim–whether it’s on the beach, a pool, or a world-class water park-like Aqua Planet.

It’s got a 10-hectare property that is filled with 38 attractions, deluxe facilities, and shops and stalls. How to Get to Aqua Planet Clark

A. Via Bus

If you’re planning to commute from Manila, the most efficient way is to ride a bus bound for Dagupan and alight at the Dau-Mabalacat bus terminal in Pampanga. From there, you can take a tricycle to the Bayanihan terminal where you can ride a Blue Jeep that will take you straight to Aqua Planet.

Alternatively, you can take a Grab to Aqua Planet straight from the Dau-Mabalacat bus terminal as there are instances where the Blue Jeep won’t be able to accompany guests to the waterpark.

B. Via Private Vehicle

If you’re heading to Aqua Planet through a private vehicle, it is best to download a GPS application that will guide you to the waterpark.

Where to Eat near Aqua Planet

A weekend getaway with the family is not complete without good food and sweet drinks! Unfortunately, guests are prohibited to bring food inside the waterpark. There are, however, various food concessionaires and restaurants inside that will satisfy each and everyone’s cravings.

Bubble Storm

This is great for kids (and adults) who seem to think nuggets, fries, and hotdog sandwiches are top-tier foods! (Not that we can blame them, though!)

Gastro Hubble

It is a themed restaurant that specializes in burgers, fried chicken, and other American favorites.

Orc’s Lair

This is for those who are in need of a heavy meal before seizing the waters. Apart from the classic fries and sandwiches, they also serve classic Filipino breakfast meals.

Big Bang.

If you’re looking for international flavors, the Big Bang is your place! They’ve got Western and Asian cuisine that will leave you wanting for more!

Loop Bites.

If you pay attention to this stall’s name, you’ll definitely pick up on the reference to their delicious pasta dishes and how each pasta noodle loops into your fork and into your mouth.

Galactic Dough Pizza House.

If you’re not in the mood for rice or pasta dishes, perhaps pizza would be a good match for your grumbling stomach!

SubZero Ice Cream House

And when you’re finally done with savory dishes, it’s time to satisfy your sweet tooth with a cup (or two!) of ice cream from SubZero Ice Cream House.

Restrictions

Every major theme or waterpark has its own set of rules and regulations to ensure that every guest will have a remarkable time during their stay! Read through some of these rules so you won’t have to worry about anything when you finally get to Aqua Planet!

Guests are expected to wear proper swimwear.

This means board shorts, bathing suits, rash guards, and the likes. This also means that guests are discouraged from wearing colored shirts and articles of clothing not made from spandex and polyester material.

Planet RFID

Aqua Planet is a cashless facility. This means that guests will be given a wristband that will act as their wallets during their stay. All transactions, including those made in food outlets and shops, will be charged to the e-wallet and shall be paid upon exit. It is also important to note that re-entry is not allowed in Aqua Planet.

Bringing of floaters.

Families with kids are discouraged to bring any floating devices as these will not be allowed inside the water park. Don’t worry about your child’s safety, though! These floatation devices are provided by Aqua Planet.

What should you bring?

Now that you’ve read about Aqua Planet’s attractions and have finally decided to go to the park once it has reopened its doors, the next thing you need to do is to make sure that you have your swimming essentials packed!

Sunblock.

No one likes unflattering tan lines and painful sunburns. Protect your skin from such fate by bringing a bottle of sunblock. Double-check the brand if it’s in SPF 30 or above.

Goggles.

The chemicals and other nasty stuff found in the water can irritate your eyes when you try to open them underwater. Protect your eyes by using goggles whenever you plan to dive or swim in deep pools.

Protective footwear.

If you’ve got extra money on your hands, you might want to invest in protective footwear made specifically for water adventures. This footwear saves you from the hassle of walking barefoot or leaving your flip-flops unattended when you take a dip in the pool.

Other accessories

Waterproof camera.

Bringing a waterproof camera to your aqua adventures will take your Instagram photos to the next level! If you’re a little tight on your budget, you can buy a watertight case for your phone, but if you’re willing to splurge, you can get yourself an action camera. These devices, however, are not allowed on rides.

Selfie sticks.

No one wants to be left out of a good group photo. This mobile photography accessory is essential whether you’re on your own or with a group of friends.

Tips and Tricks Before You Visit:

Be an early bird.

Aqua Planet is only open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and let’s be honest, that’s not enough time to enjoy all of their attractions! The only way to enjoy most of their amenities is when you get to the waterpark early.

Go during the weekdays.

Lucky for us, Aqua Planet is one of the few water parks that are open for the whole week. This way, you won’t encounter long queues and big crowds.

Book your tickets early.

Aqua Planet is one of the newest and biggest water parks in the Philippines, and since we’re nearing the hot season, ticket sales in resorts are expected to spike and eventually, become more expensive. It’s best to book your tickets as early as now.

Go in groups.

Water adventures are more fun when you’re with your friends or family! Not only do groups make the experience more memorable, you also get a nice discount when you book your tickets in bulk!
